Acteur Robert Downey Jr. staat momenteel vooral bekend om zijn als Tony Stark/Iron Man in het Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hem werd de vraag gesteld in welke serie Downey Jr. te zien zou willen zijn. Zijn antwoord was; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Verder zei hij: “Nothing is impossible. But there might be a fair amount of red tape involved in something like that. I love Clark Gregg, and am pleased the show is doing so well.”
